Diagnosis

Your body is an interconnected web

Pain, fatigue, and other symptoms indicate that something is wrong

We believe that bothersome symptoms should be fully investigated for their root causes, rather than simply suppressed.  Very often the root causes of chronic conditions are far from the location of the symptoms.   We look at your body as an interconnected web, and we identify areas and systems of your body that are functioning fully, as well as those that are not.

Our three-part diagnostic approach:

We look for the connections among your diet, lifestyle, environment, emotions, and physical structure when we evaluate your health.  To accurately assess your condition, we use a three-part diagnostic approach:

We thoroughly review all of your current concerns as well as your personal and family health history (where appropriate), looking for clues to help you resolve your health problems.

We do a hands-on exam, which includes conventional physical, nutritional physical, and chiropractic assessment as well as holistic chiropractic, neurological, and acupuncture diagnosis, integrated through Applied Kinesiology muscle testing.

When necessary, we use state-of-the-art nutritional and functional medicine laboratory testing, conventional lab testing, x-rays, MRIs, and other radiographic studies.

We specifically evaluate for:
  • Nutritional insufficiencies and imbalances

  • Musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction

  • Scar tissue (deep or superficial) which may contribute to chronic pain and weakness

  • Imbalances in gastrointestinal ecology and function

  • Food sensitivities

  • Impaired stress handling

  • Hormonal imbalance (sex hormones, as well as thyroid and adrenal)

  • Impaired energy production and metabolism

  • Toxic body burden and impaired detoxification

  • Environmental sensitivities
